We are so excited about our upcoming Tybee
trip! Your child is bringing home 4 very important things today--a packet
of information about departure times and "What to Bring Checklist"; a
blue backpack and 2 t-shirts: orange and green. Please label the tag of your child's
t-shirts with his/her name. We will all wear the orange shirt on departure day - Monday, April 24, and the green shirt on Tuesday, April 25.
The blue bag will also be used on our trip. This will become your child's "island bag." Please pack a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellent in this bag. These items should also be labeled with your child's name. Students will carry this with them as they move from class to class on the island. We will also give students a few things to add to their island bags once we arrive.
We told the students that they may also bring an additional small "bus bag," as well as their overnight bag, packed and ready for the trip. We are looking forward to a wonderful two days on Tybee! Thanks so much! The 4th Grade Teachers
