Wear Red!

We hope that you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving break with your families!  Remember that our 4th graders will lead chapel on Tuesday at 12:05.  We would love for you to join us!  There will be plenty of seating in the back half of the auditorium, especially since the 4th grade students will be on the stage. We are also asking students to please wear a RED uniform shirt on Tuesday for our Christmas chapel.

Thanks so much!  The 4th Grade Teachers

Manners Luncheon Reminder

Manners Luncheon
Wednesday, November 20th

We are so excited about our manners luncheon that will be held on Wednesday! Remember, students are allowed to wear church clothes to school that day--please no jeans, t-shirts, flip flops, etc. School uniforms are also perfectly acceptable for the luncheon, if that is what your student prefers to wear.

Thank you to our fabulous host homes for making this off-campus lunch possible! We are looking forward to a great time as we put into practice some of the things that we have learned during our manners unit!

As Emerson wrote, “Life is short, but there is always enough time for courtesy!”

4th Grade to Lead Chapel

We are so excited about the opportunity students will have to lead chapel on December 1st.  Your child is bringing home a copy of his/her lines.  Please begin rehearsing these at home.  The copy of lines should be returned to school each day, as we will be using these to rehearse in the classroom as well.

Thank you so much, and we hope you will be able to join us on 12/1 at 12:05 in the auditorium.

Digestion Models

Enjoy a few photos below from our time in the science lab this week. The students used lengths of yarn to replicate the esophagus, the large intestine, and the small intestine. They had a great time and learned so much during the process!
