Our 4th graders are so excited about the upcoming eclipse! All week we have been learning about eclipse safety, as well as discussing eclipse facts in computer, library, and in the classroom! Today students were able to practice wearing their viewing glasses safely with Mrs. Clausen.
This is an excellent video from Nat Geo for kids that reviews some of the important information we have discussed at school. Click the link to watch it too... http://video.nationalgeographic.com/video/101-videos/solar-eclipse-101.

Welcome to 4th grade! We had a wonderful day today getting to know each other and also preparing our binders for the exciting year to come! Parents, feel free to help your child with his/her binder. Learning to stay organized will be a huge part of our 4th grade year. Please see the instructions below that the children used today as they worked.
We are so proud of them and their efforts on Day 1!!!!
