4th Graders share "The Pumpkin Patch Parable"

Students had a great time reading together Liz Curtis Higgs' "The Pumpkin Patch Parable." This sweet children's story illustrates how a loving farmer can turn a simple pumpkin into a glorious sight. In the parable, the farmer picks out a pumpkin and scoops out all the messy "goo" to make room for his light to shine from inside. In the same way, God's transforming love can fill each of our hearts with joy and light. What a great biblical truth to share in such a fun way!

Explorer Projects

Under the "Important Documents" box on the right, you will find 2 links with information for your child to help them complete the "take-home" portion of the Explorer Project.   Explorer cut-outs came home last week in signed papers.  We will be researching and completing the written portion of this project in class.
