Our mission is to educate and equip students to change the world for God's glory.

UPCOMING ELEMENTARY CHAPEL: Tuesday, October 31st @ 12:05. Our sharing time will be about Martin Luther. During October students are learning interesting facts about Martin Luther and the Reformation. All are welcome!

CENTER FOR DISCOVERY, BEYOND THE CLASSROOM LEARNING: Many new classes are beginning as November and holiday time approaches. Sign up now at for a complete class detail list. You may also sign up with paper registration forms available in the Elementary office. Bring a friend! Upcoming classes include Viking Soccer League, Christmas Art, Tennis Camp, and others. You'll also want to check out our three-day ThanksGiving Camp for Thanksgiving Break.

JACKET LABELING REMINDER: With cooler weather PLEASE- take time to make sure your child’s name is in their jackets, sweaters, and coats. We already have a collection of non-labeled items. Also label water bottles, lunchboxes, hats, book bags, and all! Please check the Lost and Found area in the elementary hallway if you are missing items.

BOX TOPS: Please continue to send in BOX TOPS. THANK YOU for the great response we have already had with sending in Box Tops so far this year!

BOOKS WITH BUDDIES: Please invite friends with students in 3K, PreK, or Kindergarten to join us Thursday, October 26, at 9:30 a.m. for our next Books with Buddies. We'll enjoy story time at our FPD library with Mrs. Darnel and this month also an art activity with Mrs. Jaime Simmons.

VIKING STORE: The Viking Store has items for all ages, including our own “Viking Bucks” gift card available in any amount!  We have a great selection of short and long t-shirts, uniform-approved outerwear, caps, Tervis Tumblers, and much more. Open school days 7:45am to 3:30pm and located in the MAC near the cafeteria. Email Renita at or call 478-477-6505.

CLASS INTERNATIONAL PALS: All elementary classes in 1st- 5th grades have an FPD International student that their class prays for daily. These students are their International Pals. Throughout the year the younger students make them cards, share goodies, and invite them to their classes to share. We want them to know what it means to be part of the FPD family.

GARDENS ARE PLANTED: All classes 3K- 5th grade have cleaned out and planted their fall garden beds. Raised beds are filled with kale, broccoli, lettuces, Swiss chard, cabbage plants and carrot seeds. It will be exciting to watch these plants grow as we look forward to picking and having these for snack times and lunch! What an awesome way to experience this part of God’s creation.
