Get Involved with our Backpack Ministry

  THANK YOU for your continued support of our Backpack Ministry. (We couldn't have done it without your help!) We are excited to start another school year of providing food to hungry children on weekends, through our partnership with 2 local elementary schools. 

   FPD has adopted 45 students at Rosa Taylor Elementary and 15 students at Heritage Elementary who were identified by their principal and school counselor. Without our help, these students have very little to eat between lunch at school on Friday and breakfast at school on Monday morning.

   Would you consider buying some of these items? 4th Grade assignments are:

      Juice pouches (ex.Capri Sun or Kroger brand)

      Peanut Butter crackers

      vienna Sausages/ Tuna or Salmon packs

   The food will go directly to our Backpack Pantry and will help fill our weekly bags. Our elementary students also participate by packing food bags on various Friday's throughout the year.
