We have had such a wonderful time learning about Polar Regions in Social Studies! Students did a fantastic job on their recent Polar Animal Power Point Presentations!
On Thursday, March 5th, we will have an open book test over this material. Students will be using their "ABC's of Polar Regions" research books for this test. A sample page from this book is shown above. We have been busy making these in class over the last several weeks.
There will be one portion of the test that students will need to study for. You will find the comparison chart of the Arctic and the Antarctic/Antarctica here, as well as listed in the important documents section of the blog. Students also have a copy of this in their 4th grade binders. Please remind students to study the material on this chart and be familiar with similarities and differences between the two regions.
