Unit 5 Math Test

Our Unit 5 math test will be on Thursday, February 7. The students will have the study guides in their blue folder on January 31 to help them get prepared.

Our Rockets Are Ready!

Our 4th grade rockets are ready for launch at SPACE DAY on February 1st!   We can't wait!!!

Space Dates

The 4th grade Space vocab quiz will be on 1/24 and the unit test will be on 1/31.  The quizlet and study guides are on the right sidebar of the blog.

Fourth Grade Solar System Lab

Wonder why these 4th graders look so surprised? They spent the day in Science Lab Friday learning just how HUGE our solar system and making 2 different space models...outer space is AMAZING!

Lower School Newsletter …. From Wade Putnal

Welcome to the second semester of this school year. I hope you all enjoyed family time and making some special memories. We are so happy to have the children back on campus. It seems they have all grown at least an inch or two over the holidays! 2019 will be an exciting year as we prepare to celebrate the 50^th Anniversary of First Presbyterian Day School.

As a school we have so much to celebrate every day…. a mission focused school, outstanding accreditation, phenomenal teachers and staff, fabulous facilities, and multitudes of opportunities for your children. The faculty and staff are committed to all the great things that go on at FPDS every single day. Thank you for choosing FPDS so we can celebrate with you as your children grow. Please keep our school in your prayers.

Time to sign up for NEW Center for Discovery Classes!!! We have so many new ones… Sign Language, Robot Power, Engineering, Detectives, Mercy Watson along with Tennis Academy, Chess, Music and Ballet Lessons, AND Elementary Cross Country! We will continue to offer Make and Take it Tuesdays as well as Stay and Play Thursdays with Viking Clubhouse and Crew. Invite a friend and sign up online now! 😊

             Friday- VIKING Super Spirit Day- red and black

             ** Elementary will bring in donations of school supply items for the Campus Club ministry.                   (crayons, markers, notebooks, glue sticks, etc.)
