Weather Update

Because school is cancelled again on Tuesday, September 12th, both the Maps and Globes vocabulary quiz and the Unit 1 Math test are rescheduled and will be given on Thursday, September 14th. Unit 5 Spelling words will be assigned for memorization this week, but there will not be a spelling test this Friday. Hope everyone is staying safe. We look forward to seeing you Wednesday morning!

Social Studies Website

As we have studied types of maps, map keys, and latitude & longitude coordinates over the last few weeks, the children have enjoyed viewing the maps at the National Hurricane Center web site.  Many of them have asked for the link so that they could access the site from home as well.  Click HERE to visit the site.

SS Vocab Quiz

Our Social Studies Maps and Globes vocab quiz will be on Wednesday, 9/13.  Students received copies today of the vocabulary study guide to add to their binders.  Another copy of this study guide is also posted here on the blog under the IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS tab on the right.  Our test for this unit will be on Thursday, 9/21.
