Manners, Nutrition, and Digestion

Happy Friday!  This is just a quick update to let you know that we will have our Manners, Nutrition, and Digestion test on the Thursday after Thanksgiving break (12/4).  The study guide link will soon be included under the Important Documents tab on the right.

We hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families!  It is such a blessing to teach your children each day! 

Fourth Grade Manners Luncheon

The fourth graders did an excellent job showing their good manners today at our annual Manners Luncheon. A big thank you goes out to all who made it possible!

Nutrition and Digestion in the Science Lab

Last week in the lab, 4th grade students learned about the process of digestion.  Students made models to demonstrate this process. Enjoy the pictures!

Explorers Visit 4th FPD Grade!

Mrs. Scott came and shared about the FPD Backpack Ministry today, and students packed food to help reach out to others.

Upcoming Explorer Quiz

We are so excited to hear all about exploring in class tomorrow!  We finished final written drafts in class today, but please remember to bring in your "Explorer Cut-Out" on November 11th.  Our matching quiz over explorers will be this Friday, November 14th.  The study guide is available on the right under the tab for important documents.  Your child should also have a copy in his/her Social Studies binder.  Thanks so much!  

 

Field Trip Money Due Friday, November 7

Please don't forget to send in your check for $80 to cover the cost of our 4th Grade Field Trips for this school year, due Friday, Nov. 7th. We have a lot of great activities planned this year. Our first event is the Manners' Luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 19th. Thanks so much!
