Science Homework

Tonight for homework, students have been asked to clean out the "Science" section of their binders.  They may remove the green cover page shown below, as well as all of the Scientific Method materials contained in this section.  Parents, thanks so much for helping with this clean-out process!!!  

Explorer Cut-Outs

The 4th graders are so excited...explorer research and biographies are underway.  This week in signed papers students will find instructions for completing the "explorer cut-out" part of the project.   A copy of these instructions is also here on the blog.  The picture above is included here for your convenience.  Enjoy, and we can't wait to see these completed cut-outs on October 28th!  

Garden Fun!

Tuesday we enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine!  4th grade students planted lettuce, broccoli, and cabbage in the FPD gardens.  We also spent some time reading and enjoying nature.  What a great way to enjoy God's creation!
