This week our FPD 4th graders enjoyed touring Vulcan Granite Quarry! Students saw igneous and sedimentary rocks in the quarry, as well as toured the quarry grounds. It was a wonderful trip!
We also were visited by GA Power in the Science Lab this week. Students learned about magnetism, electricity, insulators, conductors, and more! Several students were interested in the energy stick that we used. This is the link to find it online:
